Hard to say goodbye

Warning: here might be sentimentality.

Did you ever see something so sad? It is amazing how repeating slovak potraviny and drinking slivovica can bring people together in just 3 weeks. And not to be forgotten: singing songs about sloveso and spohulasky. So to wake up and see suitcases in the hall really can crack a heart totally up.

In these three weeks we have had excusions,

lectures,

city walks,

We have been walking the streets of Presov late at night to find somewhere we all could sit to eat and drink.

We have had 6 different teachers and about every theme relating to everyday life that is possibel, but not only learned the slovak phrases! We have also learned the most useful and beatiful phrases of each others languages. Especially finnish was a hit, I must say.

We celebrated a birthday.

We had some cheese.

We appeared as stars of national slovak television.

We held presentations with facts and curiosities from our countries, like sheeps head, ancient politicians and fuelling reindeer.

And before we could say "krapula", the course was over. Martyna and Team Norway are left in Presov while the rest of you guys went the other cities of Slovakia, our country of residence for a few months.

It really was surprisingly sad when you left. It will probably feel different on monday when our practise starts and the "real" study exchange begins. But thank you, dear group, for being fun and nice people to spend these weeks with. It was more than I hoped it would be and it wouldnt be the same without each and every one of you.

So thank you, group! Good luck in the rest of your stays - and I hope we can manage meeting again. Kisses and hugs!
